Kirsten Gunter

Kirsten Gunter MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, is an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in pediatrics and neonatal care. She grew up in Virginia Beach but has now been in the Northern VA area for over 10 years. Kirsten has spent much of her career as a NICU nurse and continues to have a special passion for caring for NICU graduates. She is enthusiastic about treating children of all ages who deal with complex medical conditions. Her goal is to ensure that each of her patients feel safe, heard, and to support them by helping them in creating the best quality of life possible. She is dedicated to building trusting relationships with families and providing compassionate, personalized care for every stage of a child’s journey. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her dog Holly, traveling, and thrifting!
