Dr. Pham grew up in East Aurora, New York, a small suburb of Buffalo. She stayed local for her undergraduate education but went off to the big city of Washington, D.C. for medical school at Georgetown University and has been a city girl ever since!

She met her husband, Hubert, in medical school. (In the cadaver lab! Romantic, huh?) He is an ophthalmologist and multi-passionate entrepreneur. They live with their son, Emil, in Northern Virginia. The rest of her immediate family is in New York and Florida.

When Dr. Pham isn’t working with patients, she loves to spend time with her son and husband. They love to enjoy the planet and all the wonderful beings that live on it. She is passionate about fitness and nutrition and has a goal of doing a sprint triathlon someday soon! When she’s stuck inside, Dr. Pham loves to bake and share her goodies with her family.

Dr. Pham’s passion

The best part of Dr. Pham’s job is the relationships she builds with children and their families through patience, compassion and education. By being allowed to play an integral role in their lives and support them through it all, Dr. Pham feels privileged to share moments of success, struggle, failure and even sadness with them. Her favorite moments have come when children use their communication devices to show her and the rest of the world they have a voice!

“I am constantly amazed by the resilience of children and their families in the face of significant disabilities and changes in function.”
