Autism Evaluations
Dr. Singh recommends for the vast majority of her patients to obtain a full developmental evaluation and to then test for autism at a follow up appointment, if it is clinically indicated. Learn more about developmental evaluations here.
However, in some cases, a child has had previous developmental testing or circumstances indicate that they may not need a full evaluation, Dr. Singh can provide just a separate Autism Evaluation, the ADOS-II.
While many parents and caregivers may strongly suspect that a child is autistic, we want to reiterate that a full developmental evaluation is recommended to rule out the possibility of other developmental conditions.
Please call the office to find out more if an Autism Evaluation is right for your child.
