Parenting is a journey, that’s for sure! It brings joy, love and boundless adventures, but it’s certainly not without its bumps along the way. Led by Dr. Sharon Singh, Developmental Psychologist, and Dr. Amir Miodovnik, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, our groups are designed to support, educate and empower your parenting.

Parenting a Child with a Developmental Delay

Learn effective and practical strategies to support your parenting skills and promote your child’s development while forming a community with other parents who have children in early intervention services.

  • $100 per session
  • Objectives:
    1. Learn about effective and practical strategies to support your parenting skills to support and promote your child’s development. These would be given to your family in collaboration with suggestions given to your family by your current intervention team if you have one.
    2. Form a community with other parents who have children in early intervention services.
    3. Have your questions answered by a developmental psychologist and developmental pediatrician who have been working in the area for 15 years, as well as learn how developmental milestones progress in young children.

Learn effective, developmentally-appropriate, practical strategies to support your parenting skills within the context of the culture of your home. Be active, collaborative and vulnerable with other parents/caregivers in the community on your parenting journey.

  • $1000 for 8 sessions
  • Objectives/Goals:
    1. Learn effective, developmentally appropriate and practical strategies to support your parenting skills within the context of the culture of your home.
    2. Be active, collaborative and vulnerable with other parents/caregivers in the community on your parenting journey.
    3. Have the opportunity to have questions answered by a developmental psychologist who has been in the community for 15 years working with young children and their families.
    4. Learn ways to support yourself by practicing mindfulness in session.
    5. Practice different ways to connect with your child at home and in session.

  • $1000 for 8 sessions
